Merrill-Milai-Stanley scholarship, Rod began his career in Pittsburgh. An assignment for
a Pittsburgh client brought him to Vero Beach and he's never looked back. Rod's success
can be measured by the number of clients who return for additional projects.

Lyra, a licensed interior designer, earned her BSc from West Virginia Wesleyan College and an AA from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has worked for architectural firms and as an independent, and has many successful commercial design projects to her credit.

Kathi Weems
Office Manager
A Vero Beach native, Kathi had a background in dental office PR before becoming the Wonder Woman of Rod Mickley Interior Design. She handles pricing, procurement, client communication and a myriad of details.
If you want to know when your sofa will arrive, ask Kathi.
Maria Neely
Maria has made Vero home for nearly eighteen years. Prior to joining the Rod Mickley Design team, she worked in the fields of business, early childhood education and exceptional student education. Her duties at the RMD business office include reception, purchasing and tracking.
Penny Deshon
Showroom Manager
A Vero Beach resident for over 20 years, Penny has an AA degree in business from Central Michigan University as well as 18 years of sales experience. She is the manager of our showroom on US 1, and incorporates sales and warehouse management in her duties.
